Description
The Spirale Piano Trio Founded in 2002 by the Russian-Cuban cellist, Makcim Fernandez Samodaiev, the Romanian pianist, Monica Florescu and the Mexican violinist, Pedro Pozos Melo, Spirale Piano Trio has proved to be one of the most known high-standard chamber music groups in Belgium. The members of this ensemble, each at their time a musically gifted child, have obtained individually a broad roll of honor in many countries around the world. They decided to master their musical talents by pursuing their studies in Belgium, where they met and found themselves, as in a predestinate fate, driving together on the same stream. The trio, talented and passionately driven, creates a virtuosity that converges in a round and utmost subtle balance, a view of a combined action led by a stunning consequence. The ensemble has performed in big halls like the Center of Fine Arts and Flagey in Brussels, the Bijloke in Ghent, the National Center of Arts (CNA) in Mexico City, the State Theater of Villahermosa and Veracruz. Spirale Piano Trio, collaborates with guest musicians as well, and widens its repertoire of known masterpieces regularly with works of contemporary composers like Jan Van Der Roost, Patrick De Clerck, Alexandre Rabinovitch and Gyulai Gaal Janos. The ensemble is laureate of various festivals in Belgium, such as the Philippe Herreweghe Festival 2004, where they were awarded the title of “Young Talent”, the Steinway Festival 2005 in Ghent, and had the opportunity to interact with great artists like Thomas Kakusha, Alexandre Rabinovitch.vvvvv
